Hong Kong Shares Fall; Markets Await Details on China Fiscal Measures -- Market Talk

0822 GMT - Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index closed 1.4% lower at 20637.24 after a choppy trading session. Stocks continued their slump after China's top state planner failed to meet hopes for additional fiscal measures at a briefing Tuesday, weighing on sentiment in China and Hong Kong. Markets are now focused on the Chinese finance ministry's media briefing on Saturday for further fiscal measures. Citic fell 8.2%, Alibaba Health Information Technology lost 7.1% and Wuxi Biologics was 6.1% lower. Among winners, CK Infrastructure and Meituan each rose 2.5%, while Power Assets gained 1.95%.
