Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels Appoints CEO; Shares Rise 4%

The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels (HKG:0045) named Benjamin Julien Arthur Vuchot as chief executive officer effective March 3, 2025, according to a Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange.

Vuchot will succeed Clement King Man Kwok, whose resignation as CEO will take effect Oct. 31 as part of management changes within the hotel chain, the filing said.

Christobelle Yi Ching Liao, corporate and governance chief, will become interim CEO beginning Nov. 1, 2024 until March 2, 2025, according to the filing.

Shares jumped 4% during Tuesday's morning trading.
