China Shenhua Energy (HKG:1088, SHA:601088) commercial coal production and sales fell by 2.2% and 2.6% year over year in September to 26.6 million tons and 36.9 million tons, respectively, a Monday bourse filing said.
The power company's gross power generation for the month rose by 33% to 21.98 billion kilowatt-hours from 16.54 billion kilowatt-hours a year prior.
For the nine months ended Sept. 30, coal output and sales stood at 244.4 million tons and 345.3 million tons, respectively, up 1% and 3.8% from Q1 to Q3 of 2023.
