AnteoTech (ASX:ADO) secured the first commercial order for its Ultranode battery anode technology from European electric vehicle manufacturer EV1, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian Securities Exchange.
The order, valued at AU$40,000, is for an initial quantity of Ultranode for testing and evaluation, the filing said.
EV1's testing of Ultranode will take place in parallel with its ongoing evaluation of the company's other product, Anteo X, according to the filing.
AnteoTech shares surged 20% in afternoon trade.
