Capital World Faces 30.6 Million Ringgit Claim Over Alleged Damages at Property Units

Capital World (SGX:1D5) said its subsidiary, Capital City Property, received a legal notice related to a 30.6 million ringgit claim from purchasers of property units in its Capital City Project, according to a Tuesday filing on the Singapore Exchange.

The claim, filed by Anna Ling and other buyers, alleges damages tied to the property units at the development, the filing said.

Capital City Property has 14 days to respond to the writ and statement of claim in the High Court, according to the filing. The company is currently seeking legal advice and reviewing the basis of the claim.
