Vector's Attributable Profit Climbs 24% in Fiscal H1

Vector's (TYO:6058) profit attributable to owners climbed 23.8% to 1.02 billion yen in the fiscal first half ended Aug. 31 from 823 million yen a year ago.

The company, mainly engaged in public relations, said basic earnings per share rose to 21.73 yen from 17.25 yen a year ago, according to a Tuesday filing.

Net sales slipped 4.1% to 27.4 billion yen from 28.6 billion yen a year earlier.

Vector forecasts attributable profit to grow 6.7% to 5 billion yen or 106.58 yen per share and net sales to gain 3% to 61 billion yen for the fiscal year ending Feb. 28, 2025.

The company expects to pay a final dividend of 32 yen per share for the current fiscal year.

Vector's shares gained over 3% in early trade.
