Carrefour is planning to cut 340 jobs at its Croissy-Beaubourg site by the end of 2025 as the company aims to combine the head office of its Cora, Provera and namesake Carrefour brands.
The French grocer said Tuesday that the decision would lead to the transfer of activities currently based at Croissy-Beaubourg to Carrefour's Massy site, where the group also plans to create 120 jobs.
Each employee will be offered to redeploy to one of the group's sites in the Paris region, either at the head office or in a store, the company said.
Those who decline the offer will be eligible for support measures negotiated with employee representatives as part of an Employment Protection Plan, it added.
