Sidus Space (SIDU) said Tuesday that the US Federal Communications Commission granted it a license to operate a micro constellation of remote sensing satellites in Low Earth Orbit.
The license will enable the company to add new missions and will also give it improved data acquisition capabilities using its LizzieSat platform, Sidus said.
The regulatory clearance covers LizzieSat 2 to 5, allowing Sidus to expand its orbit presence beyond the LizzieSat 1 mission, the company said.
