China National Building Material Expects to Swing to Loss in January-September; Shares Up 8%

China National Building Material (HKG:3323) expects a loss attributable to the equity holders of about 700 million yuan for the nine months ended September 30, against an attributable profit of 2.35 billion yuan in the previous year.

The company attributed the expected loss to the decrease in sales prices and volumes of core products and the decline in performance attributed by the associates, according to a Tuesday filing on the Hong Kong bourse.

The company plans to publish its third quarterly results by the end of October.

China National Building Material's shares were up over 8% in the recent trading.
