MT Newswires Live10-15

Red Cat (RCAT) said Tuesday it received a $1 million contract for its FlightWave Edge 130 Blue drones from the US Army Communications-Electronics Command.

The contract was awarded via Noble, which provides sustainment and operations support for the US military and civilian government agencies, Red Cat said.

Red Cat bought FlightWave, a provider of drone, sensor and software services, along with its flagship drone Edge 130 Blue in September, the company said.

The Edge 130 Blue drone is used for long-range mapping, inspection, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions, Red Cat said.

Red Cat shares were up 2.4% in early trading Tuesday.
