1613 GMT - Germany's DAX closed at an all-time high of 19508.2, following gains on Wall Street at the start of the week marked by the beginning of the earnings season and a European Central Bank policy meeting. The German blue-chip index's previous record high was set at 19473.63 on Sept. 27. Defense company Rheinmetall, chipmaker Infineon and plane maker Airbus top the DAX risers, while carmakers Porsche AG Volkswagen and chemicals group BASF are the biggest decliners.
