Sector Update: Tech Stocks Flat to Higher Premarket Monday

Technology stocks were flat to higher premarket Monday with the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) inactive and the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) up 0.6% recently.

Zapata Computing Holdings (ZPTA) shares slumped by over 70% after the company said in a filing its board has approved the cessation of the company's operations due to insolvency.

ServiceNow (NOW) shares were 0.9% higher after the company said it plans to invest $1.5 billion in its UK operations over the next five years.

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSM) is looking to expand its presence in Europe, particularly for artificial intelligence chips, Bloomberg reported, citing a senior Taiwanese official. Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing shares were up 0.4% pre-bell.
