Lithium Plus Minerals (ASX:LPM) achieved high recovery rates from metallurgical testing of samples sourced from the Lei deposit within the Bynoe project in the Northern Territory, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
A whole-of-ore dense media separation (DMS) test reached nearly 70% recovery to a concentrate containing 6.1% lithium oxide, the filing said.
A combination of DMS and high-grade ore sample flotation recovered up to a little over 85%, forming a concentrate with 6.1% lithium oxide, the filing added.
