China Galaxy Securities Issues Corporate Bonds of 5 Billion Yuan

China Galaxy Securities (HKG:6881, SHA:601881) publicly issued the first tranche of its corporate bonds worth 5 billion yuan on Thursday to professional investors at a nominal value and issue price of 100 yuan per unit, a same-day filing with the Hong Kong bourse said.

The bonds are of two types, the first type has a three-year term, a final issue size of 3.5 billion yuan, and a final coupon rate of 2.15%.

The second type has a five-year term, a final issue size of 1.5 billion yuan, and a final coupon rate of 2.25%.

The company plans to use the proceeds from the bonds to repay the principal of its matured corporate bonds.

The state-owned brokerage and investment bank's shares closed over 1% lower on Thursday.
