Chinese Shares Are Higher; Investors Digesting New Property Stimulus -- Market Talk

0156 GMT - Chinese shares are higher, erasing their opening losses. The Shanghai Composite Index flat at 3167.66. The Shenzhen Composite Index is 0.3% higher at 1836.97 and ChiNext Price Index rises 0.4%. Investors are digesting China's new property support unveiled on Thursday's government briefing and also looking to economic data due later. Hardware companies are top gainers, with Foxconn Industrial Internet adding 6.5% and Luxshare Precision Industry 4.3% higher. Property stocks are leading the decline, with Poly Developments & Holdings dropping 2.0% and China Merchants Shekou Industrial Zone Holdings 1.3% lower. (tracy.qu@wsj.com)
