Grupo Aeroportuario del Centro Norte (OMAB) said Friday it is investigating a recent cybersecurity breach related to unauthorized access to certain IT systems and information.
The Mexican airport operator said its operations are uninterrupted because of alternative and backup systems.
Grupo Aeroportuario said there has been no material adverse impact on the company at this time, with the assessment to be monitored continuously until the full resolution of the situation.
The company said there is an ongoing forensic assessment that aims to determine the extent of the incident.
Shares of the company were up 1.6% in recent trading.
