Tenon Medical Shares Jump After 3 Patents Awarded to Company

Shares of Tenon Medical were trading sharply higher in the after-hours market following news the company was awarded three patents in the U.S.

In late-trading, shares of Tenon rose 45% to $4.98. Volume in the after-hours session topped 3.5 million shares. The stock finished the day's regular session with a 2% loss, closing at $3.43.

The medical device company received two patents for its enhanced Catamaran prostheses, and one for its SI joint prostheses. Tenon said its products are intended for patients suffering from certain Sacroiliac Joint disorders.

Also on Thursday, Tenon filed for a potential stock sale by shareholder Armistice Capital.
