0801 GMT - Singapore Telecommunications' fiscal 1H core net profit likely rose 7%-9% on year to between S$1.20 billion and S$1.22 billion, CGS International analysts write. The analysts attribute most of the earnings growth to strong EBIT momentum, partly supported by cost-cutting efforts. CGS International maintains an add rating on the stock and raises its target price to S$3.70 from S$3.40. Shares are up 0.3% at S$3.19.(amanda.lee@wsj.com)
