Thomson Reuters (TRI) said Tuesday that it has acquired Materia, a US-based startup providing artificial intelligence tools for accounting purposes.
Financial terms of the deal were not provided.
Thomson Reuters said the move is expected to support its generative AI services by integrating Materia's AI tools that automate research and workflow processes in accounting.
