Polaris' Q3 Adjusted Earnings, Sales Fall; Lowers Full-Year Outlook

Polaris (PII) reported Q3 adjusted earnings Tuesday of $0.73 per diluted share, down from $2.71 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.91.

Sales for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $1.72 billion, down from $2.25 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $1.77 billion.

The company said it expects 2024 adjusted diluted EPS to be down 65% compared with 2023 versus the prior outlook of down 56% to 62%. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $3.69. The company expects its 2024 sales to be down around 20% compared with 2023 versus its previous outlook of down 17% to 20% relative to 2023. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $7.3 billion.
