Diageo North America, DHL Supply Chain to Add Two Hydrogen-Powered Trucks to US Fleet

Diageo's (DEO) Diageo North America unit and DHL Supply Chain plan to add two hydrogen-powered fuel cell electric trucks to their US fleet, DHL said Wednesday.

The Class 8 trucks, which will be manufactured by produced by Nikola (NKLA), will be deployed and refueled using a HYLA modular refueler at Diageo's campus in Plainfield, Illinois.

The project is expected to reduce carbon emissions by 80% compared to diesel trucks, providing a range of up to 500 miles on a single fill.
