NRW (ASX:NWH) subsidiary, Golding Contractors, secured a mining services deal worth AU$1.6 billion with Stanmore SMC at Queensland's South Walker Creek mine, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian Securities Exchange.
Under the deal, the company will operate and maintain heavy mining equipment to remove overburden and mine steel-making coal, starting in January 2026, the filing said.
NRW shares rose more than 1% in morning trade on Tuesday and earlier hit their highest since April 2012.
