Gladstone Land Reports Limited Hurricane Damage to its Farms

MT Newswires Live10-28

Gladstone Land (LAND) said Monday that there was limited damage to its farms and facilities from Hurricanes Helene and Milton.

The real estate investment trust said that although it is still assessing the overall impact of the hurricane, preliminary reports indicate wind damage to some of the blueberry plantings on a farm in Georgia, as well as water damage to a cooling facility in Florida.

Gladstone also said while strawberry farms in central Florida were impacted, most operations have already recovered though timing may be "slightly delayed." The company said its two citrus groves in southeast Florida did not have any notable damage.
