China Railway Construction's Value of Newly Signed Contracts in Q3 Falls 18%

China Railway Construction's (HKG:1186, SHA:601186) value of newly signed contracts in the third quarter of the year dropped 18% year on year to 372.8 billion yuan, a Monday filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange said.

The projects include construction and investment operations, environmental protection works, manufacturing operations, and real estate development.

The value of new domestic projects decreased by 18% year-on-year to 1.368 trillion yuan while the value of new overseas contracts dropped by 10% to 105.3 billion yuan, making the total value of the newly signed contracts 1.473 trillion yuan.

The construction and engineering company's shares closed nearly 2% lower on Monday.
