Strike Energy (ASX:STX) obtained the last environmental approval needed to develop the West Erregulla gas field in Western Australia, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The approval is from the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water under the Commonwealth's Environment Protection and Biodiversity Act 1999, the filing stated. It is the remaining key environmental approval required by the company's 50-50 joint venture with Warrego Energy and Australian Gas Infrastructure Group to develop the gas field.
