HMC Capital (ASX:HMC) raised AU$300 million via the placing of 34 million shares at AU$8.75 apiece, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
Placement shares are expected to be issued on Oct. 29, with trading anticipated for Oct. 30, the filing said.
Proceeds, together with other funding sources, will be used to support the acquisition of Global Switch Australia as part of a seed asset for the Global DigiCo platform, the filing added.
HMC shares rose 7% in recent Friday trade, hitting an all-time high.
