AutoNation Says Hurricane Damage to Vehicles Was Limited -- Market Talk

Dow Jones10-25

1102 ET - AutoNation CFO Tom Szlosek says the company experienced "fairly limited" vehicle damage from Hurricane Milton. There will likely be a modest impact from insurance deductibles for store damage, but it will be "mostly facade-type stuff," the CFO says on a call with analysts. "We're really fortunate, both on that part as well as the safety of our employees," he says. The CFO doesn't expect to see a significant increase in capital expenditures to remediate the impact. The company will probably be able to finalize the dollar figure of the hurricane's impact in 4Q, Szlosek says. (dean.seal@wsj.com)
