Green Plains' top finance executive, Jim Stark, plans to retire from the biorefining company by the end of the year.
Green Plains on Thursday said Phil Boggs, currently executive vice president of investor relations and finance, will succeed Stark as chief financial officer of the Omaha, Neb., company on Nov. 1.
Stark has been chief financial officer of Green Plains since October 2022 after rejoining the company earlier that year. Boggs, 49 years old, joined Green Plains in 2009.
