CITIC Securities' (SHA:600030, HKG:6030) attributable profit rose 22% year over year to 6.23 billion yuan in the third quarter, according to a Wednesday filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
Earnings per share at the brokerage increased 21% year over year to 0.40 yuan.
Operating income grew 12% year over year to 15.96 billion yuan.
Shares rose nearly 2% in Shanghai and almost 1% in Hong Kong during Wednesday's trading.
