Jiangxi Copper (HKG:0358, SHA:600362) posted a net profit attributable to shareholders of 1.37 billion yuan or 0.40 yuan per share in the third quarter of the year, down 14% from the year-ago period, according to a Tuesday disclosure on the Hong Kong stock exchange.
The Chinese copper producer's revenue slid 6.6% year on year to 123.3 billion yuan, the filing said.
The company's Hong Kong shares fell nearly 8%, while its Shanghai shares dropped more than 3% in recent trade.
