Liontown Resources Completes Maiden Shipment at Western Australian Project; Shares Slide 3%

Liontown Resources (ASX:LTR) completed the maiden shipment of spodumene sourced from its Kathleen Valley lithium project in Western Australia during the first fiscal quarter ended Sept. 30, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The shipment consisted of 10,831 dry metric tonnes (dmt) of spodumene concentrate grading 5.3% lithium oxide for an offtake customer, with revenue received after the end of the quarter, the filing said.

Production volumes exceeded 28,000 dmt of spodumene concentrate in the eight weeks since the start of the first production to the end of September, the filing said.

Company shares slid past 3% in recent Wednesday trade.
