Udemy Q3 Adjusted EPS, Revenue Increase; Q4 Sales Outlook Set -- Shares Rise After Hours

Udemy (UDMY) reported Q3 non-GAAP net income late Tuesday of $0.07 per diluted share, up from $0.05 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.01.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 rose to $195.4 million from $184.7 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $192.7 million.

For Q4, the company expects revenue of $193 million to $196 million. The consensus is for $195.8 million.

For 2024, Udemy now projects revenue at $780 million to $783 million. In July, the company expected $776 million to $782 million. Analysts are looking for $780.1 million.

The shares of Udemy were up nearly 6% in after-hours activity.
