Shanghai Pudong Development Bank (SHA:600000) recorded a third-quarter net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent of 8.24 billion yuan, jumping 69.9% from a year earlier, according to a Shanghai Stock Exchange filing on Wednesday.
Earnings per share rose 83.3% year on year to 0.22 yuan.
The Chinese lender's operating income during the reporting period remained largely flat on a yearly basis to 41.6 billion yuan, the filing said.
