China Tourism Group Duty Free Logs 53% Lower Attributable Profit in Q3

China Tourism Group Duty Free (HKG:1880, SHA:601888) recorded a net profit attributable to shareholders of 636.4 million yuan for the third quarter, 52.5% lower than the corresponding period last year.

Earnings per share fell 52.5% year on year to 0.3076 yuan for the three months ended Sept. 30, a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange said.

The large-scale joint-stock tourism retailer's operating income for the quarter came in at 11.8 billion yuan, down 21.5% from a year ago.

The company's shares were down over 1% on Wednesday's close on both exchanges.
