Emerald Resources (ASX:EMR) said exploration results from its gold projects in Cambodia and Australia indicated "significant" resource growth potential, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

In Cambodia, exploration at the Memot gold project hit high-grade mineralization, including 1 meter at 64.5 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold and 0.8 meters at 63.3 g/t of gold, while exploration at the Okvau gold mine struck up to 1 meter at 22.1 g/t of gold.

At the Dingo Range gold project in Western Australia, a resource definition program at the Boundary-Bungarra prospects delivered significant mineralization, including 1.3 meters at 20.2 g/t of gold and 1 meter at 17.5 g/t of gold.

Estimates for an updated resource for Memot and the inclusion of Dingo Range's drill results for a maiden resource are expected this year.
