Foxconn Industrial Internet to Buy Hon Hai's Mexican Assets for 924 Million Pesos

Foxconn Industrial Internet (SHA:601138) plans to purchase the real estate improvement assets of Hon Hai Precision Industry's (TPE:2317) unit in Mexico for 923.9 million Mexican pesos, according to a Shanghai Stock Exchange disclosure on Oct. 26.

The Chinese computer and telecommunications equipment manufacturer will buy the assets through its subsidiary, Fii AMC Mexico, from PCE ParagonSolutions (Mexico).

The assets include factory buildings and properties in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico. The company will use the assets to produce its products for the North American region.

Foxconn Industrial Internet's shares rose less than 2% and Hon Hai Precision Industry's shares slipped 2% in recent trade.
