CMOC Group to Cancel 100 Million Leftover A Shares from Repurchase Program, Shares Down 3%

CMOC Group (HKG:3993) plans to cancel 99,999,964 A shares repurchased between Sept. 1, 2021, and Dec. 16, 2021, left over from the second phase of the company's A share repurchase plan, a Monday Hong Kong bourse filing said.

After the cancellation, the company's issued shares will be reduced to 21,499,240,619 shares from 21,599,240,583, and the company's registered capital will shrink to nearly 4.30 billion yuan from almost 4.32 billion yuan.

The mining company's shares were down nearly 3% in recent trade.
