Sealand Securities (SHE:000750) booked a net profit attributable to the owners of 41.6 million yuan in the third quarter of the year, surging 1,963% from a year earlier, according to a Shenzhen Stock Exchange filing on Wednesday.
Earnings per share soared 2,400% year on year to 0.01 yuan.
The Chinese securities broker earned an operating income of 995.2 million yuan, up 4.7% from the preceding year, the filing said.
The company's shares jumped 5% at the close.
