0722 GMT - BNP Paribas will be questioned on its performance in areas such as equity and retail revenue, Keefe, Bruyette & Woods say in research note after the French lender's third-quarter print. The results had a few areas of outperformance within its specialized services but parts of retail and weaker equities revenues are all underwhelming, analysts Thomas Hallett and Andrew Stimpson write. "We had quietly hoped for more," they note, pointing to the lack of upgrades. Shares are likely to be under pressure at market open given better results at its peer Societe Generale and its stock's outperformance into the results, they add. (elena.vardon@wsj.com)
