Pacific Textiles' (HKG:1382) plant in Hai Duong, Vietnam, which was damaged by Typhoon Yagi in early September, has its buildings repaired and has resumed production of 70% of its original production capacity, a Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing said.
Meanwhile, the repairs and replacement of certain production facilities and damaged equipment including knitting machines are underway.
The company expects the full repairs and replacement to require several more months until the factory can resume production comparable to before the typhoon.
Meanwhile, the company plans to divert certain processes and orders to get the best results possible for now.
