Guotai Junan International Appoints Zhang Xueming as CFO

Guotai Junan International (HKG:1788) appointed Zhang Xueming as its chief financial officer with effect from Nov. 5, following the resignation of AO Qishun from the same post effective from the same date, a Friday Hong Kong bourse filing said.

AO Qishun will resign due to the internal business arrangements of the group.

Zhang Xueming joined the group in 1999 and has held several important positions in the group ever since, including posts of general planning manager, general manager of the planning and finance department, and CFO.

The financial services company's shares surged nearly 26% on Friday's close.
