09:23 ET -- Political advertising ahead of the presidential election is lifting media companies' results. Local-TV operator E.W. Scripps says Monday that political advertising revenue helped boost revenue and was expected to beat previous guidance, while Fox's profit doubled on strength in political advertising and in its free streaming service Tubi.
