U.S. stock index futures slightly pared gains on Friday after job additions in October were much lower than estimated, while the unemployment rate remained steady. .N

At 8:20 ET, Dow e-minis 1YMc1 were up 0.34% at 42,088. S&P 500 e-minis ESc1 were up 0.41% at 5,761.75, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis NQc1 were up 0.47% at 20,116.
