BYD releases the latest official images of the Xia MPV, and what is different from the previous official images is that the new images feature a brand-new “Xia” logo.
BYD’s Xia MPV is equipped with the fifth-generation DM technology, using a plug-in hybrid exclusive body structure and featuring the DiSus-C intelligent damping body control system, which can achieve ‘millisecond-level damping adjustment.’ Lu Tian, General Manager of BYD Dynasty Online Sales Division, revealed that the vehicle is built to the latest version of C-NCAP five-star safety standards, which are currently one of the most stringent safety standards in the automotive industry.
The BYD Xia MPV features the DiPilot intelligent driving assistance system, DiLink150 luxury technology smart cockpit, and is equipped with a high-performance chip. The overall length, width, and height of the Xia reach 5145mm, 1970mm, and 1805mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 3045mm. It can switch between multiple seat modes with one key to cater to business, home use, camping, and child-carrying scenarios.
BYD’s first MPV “Xia” was unveiled on August 30th on the official website of BYD Dynasty Network. Priced at around RMB 300k yuan (approximately $45k USD), this model will be launched globally later this year in four different colors: Far Mountain Green, Jian Kiln Purple, Runyu White,and Xuan Kong Black.
