Hecla (HL) produced 3.64M silver oz in Q3, up 3.53M oz and lifting YTD silver production to 12.3M oz, and 32,280 gold oz, down from 39,269 oz, but Q3 all-in sustaining costs for silver jumped to $15.29/oz from $11.39/oz in the year-earlier quarter, and gold AISC rose to $2,059/oz from $1,695/oz a year ago. For the full year, Hecla (HL) cut its silver production guidance by 500K oz and now expects to produce 16M-17M silver oz, down from prior guidance of 16.5M-17.5M oz. Hecla (HL) lowered FY 2024 guidance for its Greens Creek mine in Alaska by 200K oz, citing an unplanned five-day mill outage that hurt production in Q3, and at Lucky Friday in Idaho by 300K oz, owing to lower milled grades and throughput.
