News Corporation's Revenue Rises 3% in Fiscal Q1, EPS Up; Shares Hit All-Time High

News Corporation (ASX:NWS) reported attributable net income of $0.21 per share for first quarter of fiscal 2025, up from $0.05 per share a year ago, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.

Analysts polled by Visible Alpha expected EPS of $0.17.

Total revenue for the three months ended Sept. 30 rose 3% year on year to $2.58 billion from $2.5 billion. Analysts surveyed by Visible Alpha expected $2.57 billion.

Growth was attributed to the digital real estate services, book publishing, and Dow Jones segments.

The company's shares were up more than 1% in recent Friday trade and earlier hit an all-time high.
