Brookfield Business Partners' Q3 Earnings Swings to Profit, Revenue Falls

Brookfield Business Partners (BBU) reported Q3 earnings Friday of $1.39 per limited partnership unit, swinging from a loss of $0.20 a year earlier.

Analyst's estimates are not available for comparison.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $9.23 billion compared with $14.40 billion a year earlier.

An analyst surveyed by Capital IQ expected $17.28 million.

The company maintained a quarterly distribution of $0.0625 per unit, payable on Dec. 31, to unitholders of record on Nov. 29.
