CME Group to Extend CEO Terry Duffy's Contract Through End of 2026

CME Group (CME) said Thursday its board will extend the contract of Chairman and Chief Executive Terry Duffy through the end of 2026.

The company said that Chief Financial Officer Lynne Fitzpatrick will take on the additional role of president.

CME also named Suzanne Sprague as chief operating officer, succeeding Julie Holzrichter, who has decided to step down as COO to start serving as an advisor to the company.

The company said Sprague has served as its senior managing director and global head of clearing and post-trade services since 2022.

CME also maintained its quarterly dividend at $1.15 per share, payable Dec. 27 to shareholders of record Dec. 9.
