European Renewable-Energy Sector to Face Pressure From Trump Win -- Market Talk

Dow Jones11-06

0835 GMT - European companies in the renewable-energy sector are vulnerable to a Republican victory, according to Citi analysts. The highest risk is with offshore wind as Donald Trump has previously expressed strong opinions and curbing growth is a likely outcome, according to Citi. Vestas is a key bellwether, albeit already priced for a Trump victory, while Nordex and hydrogen names looks likely to come under pressure, Citi says. Siemens Energy will likely be less affected given a more diversified portfolio, they add. (christian.moess@wsj.com)
