ABB India (NSE:ABB, BOM:500002) saw an increase in its profit to 4.40 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal third quarter ended Sept. 30 against 3.63 billion rupees a year ago.
Earnings per share came in at 20.79 rupees compared with 17.12 rupees, according to a Monday filing to the stock exchanges by the engineering, construction, and manufacturing company.
Revenue from operations in fiscal Q3 also rose to 29.12 billion rupees from 27.69 billion rupees a year earlier.
Shares of the company were down nearly 4% in recent trade.
